The C43 is the successor of the C42 and is driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu who continue with the team in 2023 – their second season with the team.
Traditionally built exclusively for F1 teams and partners, this limited production is available for the public to buy. In 2022, the C42 Show Cars sold through F1 Authentics were the first of their kind from a current season to be made available for public market. Now, the C43 follows its path, offering collectors the chance to own a current season car.
This exquisite car boasts the striking 2023 Alfa Romeo F1® Team Stake liveries and features the sponsorship branding that the race cars driven by Bottas and Zhou showcase for the 2023 season.
Customers have the option of choosing Valtteri Bottas or Zhou Guanyu liveries.
This 2023 show car has been specifically designed for show car purposes and not for competition and has been constructed to withstand the load's exerted for show car purposes. The chassis and bodywork are constructed from high performance, lightweight pre preg carbon fibre and are designed to represent the real car with excellent surface finish whilst being durable and able to take the load exerted through the 4 axles.
Components are designed and manufactured using the same techniques as running F1 cars and utilising official 2023 Alfa Romeo F1® Team Stake CAD data, composite tooling is used to create patterns, which are then used to create carbon fibre moulds via an autoclave. Each mould is then used to create each specific part of the car’s bodywork, with each piece of bodywork then created using the materials previously mentioned.
The car comes fitted with electronic features, including a 3D printed steering wheel with a working screen and working rain lights. The steering wheel is fully connected to the front wheels via the steering rack enabling the wheels to turn left or right.
The car can be lifted by the front and rear and the nose and front wing assembly can be removed for transport purposes, as can the wheels for pit stop practice.
