This cooling headrest panel, from the right-hand side of one of the race cars, boasts the striking Alfa Romeo red and white liveries.
F1 uses cutting-edge technology and engineering for all of its bodywork and components, with this piece being no exception. This cooling panel is designed with the aim of enhancing the performance of the car and the comfort of the driver.
Positioned above the headrest, its purpose is to channel airflow and prevent the cockpit from obtaining too much heat, ensuring the driver can remain focused during the high intensity sport.
The vents on this panel may differ to those used by other teams, with each Constructor engineering their own versions in order to provide the best performing cars.
Despite the 2020 season being a challenging one for Alfa Romeo, the pairing of Kimi and Antonio was one of the best on the grid, with the 2007 World Champion's experience perfectly complementing his Italian teammate's style of racing.
