The Monegasque Prodigy

In 2016, a young Charles Leclerc joined the Ferrari Driver Academy, whilst also being signed as the development driver for both Haas and Ferrari. He made his debut two months in, driving the Ferrari F14 T. He also took part in free practice sessions with Haas.

Having impressed Ferrari during these sessions, he was given the opportunity to complete his first official F1® test at Silverstone Circuit, behind the wheel of the SF16-H. In 2017, Leclerc completed further test sessions with Ferrari and Sauber. It was later announced that he would drive for Sauber in F1® for the 2018 season.

But Leclerc’s time with Sauber only lasted a single season. With Ferrari always observing, ever since his Academy days, it wasn’t long before he was signed to join the iconic Prancing Horses. Joining the team for the 2019 season, it was the start of an incredible partnership between the driver and the team.

Racing in Red

As arguably the most iconic team in the sport, it is a dream of many drivers to race for Ferrari. Leclerc, only in his second season in the sport, was able to fulfil that dream. And he took no time to find his feet, claiming his first podium in F1® at the second round of the season. Charles even went on to claim two victories later that season, firstly in Belgium, and then at Ferrari’s home ground in Italy. All this and more led to a fourth-place finish in the Championship in his debut season with the team.

2020 came with more challenges but not without podiums, with Leclerc finding the podium on two occasions. The following season was one of the most exciting of recent years, with many drivers fighting for the top spot, and a title showdown at the very final race. Despite not winning in 2021, Leclerc remained consistent, claiming points across the calendar and a second place at the British GP.

In 2022, Leclerc finished runner-up in the World Championship, claiming three victories throughout the season and eight further podiums. He gained 308 points, taking the second spot in the Standings by just three points.

Now in 2025, Leclerc continues to race in red, never losing his determination, talent, and resilience on track.

Grand Prix Used – A Special Monza Edition

This Nomex was worn by the Monegasque driver during a race weekend in 2022. Specifically, it comes from the Monza Grand Prix—Ferrari’s home race and one of the most iconic events on the Formula 1® calendar. Racing in front of the passionate Tifosi crowd at the legendary Temple of Speed, this Nomex carries added emotional and historical weight, representing Leclerc’s fierce drive in front of his team’s home fans.

Nomex tops are worn underneath the race suit and are made from a flame-resistant meta-aramid fibre. Its key properties include high heat and flame resistance, chemical resistance, and durability.

For a sale to be successful a bid must equal or exceed the reserve. In the event that you are the highest final bidder, but the total bid remains under the reserve price the item will not sell.

Items that are sold without a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auctions. In their case the highest final bid will always win the item.

Items that do not meet reserve or do not receive any bids will not sell. Upon the closure of the auction these will be removed and managed independently by our specialists. Interested parties are invited to engage with our private sales team to make an offer.


Step 3: Make Payment

We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of payment options to satisfy their preferences. Upon conclusion of the auction the F1® Authentics sales platform will automatically issue a payment link to the winning bidder.

Payment is due in full by the end of the first business day following a sale. Proof of payment will be required and requested by our specialists.

Auction hammer price is exclusive of buyer's premium and sales tax, and exclusive of import duties and VAT.

All invoices and payments will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).
