Buyer's Guide
Our team's primary aims are to source the most unique items for our auctions and to make participating in our online events enjoyable and easy for our buyers. We endeavour to do this whilst offering a personalised service to all.
Registering as a bidder for one of our online F1 Authentics auctions is simple.

- Accept all terms and conditions.
- You'll be asked to provide your credit card details, a temporary charge of £100 will be placed on the account during the duration of the auction. This authorisation is simply a hold that will automatically be removed from your account between 7 and 30 days following the conclusion of the auction. This hold will show as pending on your account during the duration of the charge. This is done to minimise fraudulent accounts from interfering with the bidding process bidding.

General questions
Items at auction may be sold with a reserve price, this will align with the minimum amount that a consigner is willing to accept as a winning bid. Lots sold with a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auction. This identification will update to show when the bid amount exceeds the reserve.
Reserve values will always remain confidential to protect the interests of the consigners and sellers.
For a sale to be successful a bid must equal or exceed the reserve. In the event that you are the highest final bidder, but the total bid remains under the reserve price the item will not sell.
Items that are sold without a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auctions. In their case the highest final bid will always win the item.
Items that do not meet reserve or do not receive any bids will not sell. Upon the closure of the auction these will be removed and managed independently by our specialists. Interested parties are invited to engage with our private sales team to make an offer.
Payment
We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of payment options to satisfy their preferences. Upon conclusion of the auction the F1 Authentics sales platform will automatically issue a payment link to the winning bidder. This allows payment of the items via a credit or debit card. For items above a certain value or situations where a buyer has expressed a preference we welcome payment directly via bank transfer. This will require further information to be exchanged and will be managed through direct communication from one of our specialists.
Payment is due in full by the end of the first business day following a sale. Proof of payment will be required and requested by our specialists.
Auction hammer price is exclusive of buyer's premium and sales tax. The Buyer's premium is an additional percentage charge on the hammer price for that particular lot and is to be paid by the buyer. This percentage is to be specified on the individual item's page.
Auction hammer price is exclusive of import duties and VAT. These will be calculated depending on where the vehicle is sold to and will be the responsibility of the buyer.
All invoices and payments will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).
Shipment
Memento Exclusives operates with several reputable logistics experts. Our partners have experience coordinating the worldwide shipment of valuable and delicate vehicles and collectibles and will ensure products are treated with the utmost care.
Upon conclusion of a sale our specialist will contact the winning bidder to discuss delivery options. Air and sea freight quotes can be produced for items.
