Fernando Alonso fans have the chance to mark his incredible achievement at the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he secured his 100th ever podium finish during his F1 career.
Alonso took the third-place podium after performing well throughout the race, briefly leading in the opening laps. The Aston Martin driver was then served a five-second penalty for lining up outside his grid slot, which he served during a safety car period. After the race, the two-time champion was then handed a further 10-second penalty for not serving the original penalty correctly, which dropped him out of the podium places. However, the FIA reversed their decision and Alonso’s P3 finish was re-instated, and he secured his 100th F1 career podium finish.
