Max Verstappen 2021 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB16B 1:8 Scale Model – Abu Dhabi GP

Own a special 1:8 scale model of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull RB16B race car, featuring the special liveries that were displayed on the cars for the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – the season finale. It was at this race that Max Verstappen was crowned a World Champion for the first time.

The RB16B was made for the 2021 season – which would go down in history as one of the most thrilling seasons and closest Championship title battles. 

The 2021 RB16B was an evolution of the RB16 which raced in 2020. Driven by Max Verstappen (his sixth season with the team) and Sergio Pérez (his first season with Red Bull) the RB16B was victorious, with Max Verstappen claiming his first Drivers’ World Championship in 2021. 

After a thrilling season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit, it was Max who was crowned the World Champion. With both him and his closest rival, Lewis Hamilton, entering the race equal on points, either one of them could have been crowned. After a later safety car, Max was on fresher tyres and was able to take the lead, winning the race and ultimately taking the crown, however not without controversy – it would go on to be debated for some time afterwards and is recalled as one of the most exciting F1 finales. 

The 1:8 Scale Model 

This exquisite 1:8 scale model has been handcrafted and finished in Amalgam Collection’s workshops, in collaboration with Red Bull with regards to original finishes, materials, archive imagery and drawings. 

The use of original CAD from the team and accurate digital scanning of the original RB16B car means that every detail has been perfectly recreated at scale.
