Story

A unique opportunity to own a piece of Max Verstappen and Dutch Grand Prix history, while supporting an important cause. This race suit will be worn by Verstappen during the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix weekend, his final home race at Zandvoort before the event leaves the Formula 1® calendar. Following the race, the four-time World Champion will sign the suit, creating a one-of-a-kind piece directly connected to the final chapter of the Dutch Grand Prix as part of the championship.

Verstappen and the Dutch Grand Prix

Since the Dutch Grand Prix returned to the Formula 1® calendar in 2021, Verstappen has been the dominant force at Zandvoort. He won the first three editions in 2021, 2022 and 2023, becoming the first driver to claim three consecutive victories at the modern Dutch Grand Prix.

Those victories came in front of an extraordinary home crowd, making the race one of the defining events of Verstappen's career with Red Bull Racing. The combination of his success on track and the wall of orange from his Dutch fans have made Zandvoort one of the most recognisable stops on the Formula 1® calendar.

With the Dutch Grand Prix now set to leave the calendar, the 2026 race marks the end of that chapter. This suit will be worn during that final event, giving it a direct connection to the closing race of an important part of Verstappen's career.

A Piece of the Final Dutch Grand Prix

Race suits are an essential part of a driver's equipment, protecting them during every session while carrying the colours and identity of their team. This special edition suit includes a unique design, which will only be used once, to pay homage to the four-time World Champion at his home Grand Prix.

Once the race is complete, Verstappen will personally sign the suit, adding his autograph to an item already connected to a significant moment in his career.

The result is a genuinely unique piece of memorabilia. It combines Verstappen's connection to his home race, his history of success at Zandvoort and the final running of the Dutch Grand Prix.

Supporting Wings for Life

The proceeds from this auction will be donated to Wings for Life, the charity established in 2004 by Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz and two-time motocross World Champion Heinz Kinigadner.

Wings for Life supports leading medical research projects focused on finding a cure for spinal cord paralysis. F1® Authentics is proud to have raised significant funds for Wings for Life through previous partnerships with Max Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing, while giving fans the opportunity to secure unique pieces of motorsport history in support of the cause.

This auction offers that same opportunity, allowing the successful bidder to own a piece connected to Max Verstappen, Oracle Red Bull Racing and the final Dutch Grand Prix, while helping raise funds for an important cause.

Auction Buyers Guide

Our team's primary aims are to source the most unique items for our auctions and to make participating in our online events enjoyable and easy for our buyers. We endeavour to do this whilst offering a personalised service to all.

Step 1: Register to Bid

To register as a bidder, create an account on our account. You'll be asked to provide your credit card details, and a temporary charge will be placed on the account for the duration of the auction to minimise fraudulent accounts from interfering with the bidding process.

Step 2: Place Your Bid

Items at auction may be sold with or without a reserve price, and will be clearly identified as such during the auction.

For a sale to be successful a bid must equal or exceed the reserve. In the event that you are the highest final bidder, but the total bid remains under the reserve price the item will not sell.

Popcorn Bidding: All lots use a 5-minute time extension system. If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the lot’s end time will extend by another 5 minutes. This can continue for up to 24 hours after the original closing time.

Items that are sold without a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auctions. In their case the highest final bid will always win the item.

Items that do not meet reserve or do not receive any bids will not sell. Upon the closure of the auction these will be removed and managed independently by our specialists. Interested parties are invited to engage with our private sales team to make an offer.

Step 3: Make Payment

We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of payment options to satisfy their preferences. Upon conclusion of the auction the F1® Authentics sales platform will automatically issue a payment link to the winning bidder.

Payment is due in full by the end of the first business day following a sale. Proof of payment will be required and requested by our specialists.

Auction hammer price is exclusive of buyer's premium and sales tax, and exclusive of import duties and VAT.

All invoices and payments will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).

Step 4: Lot Shipment

Memento Exclusives operates with several reputable logistics experts. Our partners have experience coordinating the worldwide shipment of valuable and delicate vehicles and collectibles and will ensure products are treated with the utmost care.

Upon conclusion of a sale our specialist will contact the winning bidder to discuss delivery options. Air and sea freight quotes can be produced for items.

Returns & Refunds

Returns & Refunds Policy – Auction Items

All auction sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on any items won at auction.

Each lot is described as accurately as possible, with detailed photographs and specifications provided. By placing a bid, you acknowledge and accept:

  • The item is sold as seen, with no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied.
  • No cancellations, returns, or exchanges will be accepted after a bid is placed and the auction has ended.
  • It is the bidder’s responsibility to carefully review the item description, imagery, and any notes regarding condition, provenance, or location prior to placing a bid.
  • Any questions or requests for clarification must be made before the auction ends.

We aim to be fully transparent, and we encourage all bidders to make informed decisions. If additional information is required before bidding, please contact us at: info@f1authentics.com
