Alonso Joined the British F1 team, Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team, at the beginning of 2023. Continuing to show his excellence on track, Alonso notably became a member of an exclusive club of drivers to achieve 100 or more podiums, only six drivers including him, during the season.  

The race was one to watch for Alonso supporters, with the Aston Martin driver storming the tracks and giving yet another impressive performance for the 2023 season. He secured his fifth podium of the season, placing second behind Max Verstappen. His success secured 18 points for the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team - an honourable contribution to the team’s tally for the season.
