The race around the Shanghai International Circuit was a great weekend for McLaren’s man. Qualifying went excellently. Having trailed behind his teammate in Q1 & Q2 - the Australian found 0.600 on his final run of qualifying and put it on pole for the first time in his career.
Piastri lead Norris for the duration of the race as the McLaren pair came home 1-2 in the 50th 1-2 in McLaren's history!
