The Alpine lead driver did his best work on the Saturday. Having made it through to Q3 by less than comfortable margins - Pierre Gasly pulled an absolutely sensational lap seemingly out of nowhere!
The Frenchman lined up P4 on Sunday, and kept his pace quick and clean - only just losing out to Verstappen on the last lap.
