Miami Grand Prix
Miami International Autodrome
Bringing Formula 1® to the heart of South Florida, the Miami Grand Prix has quickly developed an identity of its own. Set within the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens, the race combines high-speed competition with the energy and spectacle of one of America's most recognisable cities, creating a distinctive addition to the modern Formula 1® calendar.
The Miami International Autodrome made its Formula 1® debut in 2022, with the circuit designed to deliver the feel of a street race while using a permanent-style layout. The 5.412km circuit features 19 corners and three long straights, with its flowing sections, heavy braking zones and technical corners providing plenty of opportunities for drivers to attack. More than 36 different layouts were assessed during its development before the final circuit was selected.
The Miami Grand Prix has already produced some significant moments in its short history. Max Verstappen won the inaugural race in 2022 and returned to victory in 2023, before Lando Norris claimed his maiden Formula 1® victory at the circuit in 2024. Oscar Piastri followed with victory in 2025, while Kimi Antonelli took his third consecutive Grand Prix win of the 2026 season in an action-packed race that saw the lead change hands several times.
With its combination of Formula 1® racing, Miami's distinctive atmosphere and the unique setting of the Hard Rock Stadium complex, the Miami Grand Prix has quickly become one of the sport's most recognisable newer events. In 2027, the Miami International Autodrome will once again provide the stage for a race that brings the speed and spectacle of Formula 1® to South Florida.
